The summary below applies specifically to the Residents’ Parking Survey 2022, run by the Sion Hill and Summerhill Road Residents’ Association.

  1. Who are we?
    We are the Sion Hill and Summerhill Road Residents’ Association (SHSRRA) – a non-profit organisation operating to promote the interests of local residents.
  1. What data are we collecting and how?
    This form collects only the survey responses, background information and contact details you supply. We do not gather any hidden data such as IP address or geolocation.

  2. Why are we collecting this data?
    We are collecting this data under the legal basis of consent, with the sole purpose of assessing local views on Residents’ Parking Zones. Any personal information you supply will be used only to contact you in relation to this exercise and not for any other reason.

  3. How will we use your data?
    The data you supply will be collected using the survey platform Snap Surveys. You can find details of their data protection and privacy policy here. When survey fieldwork is complete, we will analyse the data online and produce an overall report which combines all responses into summary findings. We will not publish individual responses. Your data will NOT be passed to any organisation outside SHSRRA.

  4. How long will we keep your data for?
    We will store your data securelyfor the earlier of: (a) a period of 12 weeks after the end of the survey (scheduled for 20th May 2022), after which it will be permanently deleted from the survey platform and any local computers on which it was stored, or (b) until you ask us to delete it (see ‘your rights’ section below).

  5. How secure is the data?
    SHSRRA takes measures to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft and misuse. Our market research software partners, detailed above, meet market research industry data protection standards including ISO 27001.

  6. What are your rights?
    Under GDPR, you have the right:
    • to access, view, and edit your own information
    • to ‘be forgotten’ – on request, all data relating to you can be deleted from any server on which it is kept
    • to withdraw your consent at any time
    • to opt-out from any future communications using the contact details you have supplied to us.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
